Care colleghe e colleghi,

 

il giorno 7 aprile alle 14.00 il Prof. Luigi Lombardo terrà un seminario presso il Dipartimento di Ingegneria Civile Chimica Ambientale e dei Materiali dell’Università di Bologna dal titolo "Monitoring and prediction of hillslope failures: a 5-year overview of the ITC landslide research group".

 

Abstract: The presentation will cover most aspects of the research carried out at ITC when it comes to geomorphological engineering. As a result, the presentation will span over landslide mapping, manual and automated, data-driven solutions for susceptibility, hazard and risk, as well as InSAR deformation modeling, all under the hood of space-time data analytics. Examples will also be presented to expand on the use of physical models, integrated as part of AI tools or earthquake legacy effects. The presentation is therefore intended for a large audience working on geohazard modeling.
